The PCMA’s collection is the second oldest in Ontario. Currently there are 25 000 artifacts and thousands of linear feet of archival material.  Outdoor theatre, an annual film series, astronomy programs and lectures round out the Museum’s commitment to programs for both children and adults.  The PCMA is also a campus for Fleming College/Trent University’s Museum Management and Curatorship Program. Graduates have taken their place as museum professionals throughout Canada and around the world. The PCMA performs important advisory and conservation work for the community. Extensive archival collections and records are accessible to the general public by appointment. The PCMA is a valuable resource for both the professional researcher and the amateur genealogists.
